We are proud to announce that General Motors has awarded Standard Motor Products de Mexico’s Reynosa Wire and Cable Manufacturing facility a Supplier Quality Excellence Award for 2022. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the Reynosa facility has received the award.
SMP’s Wire and Cable Manufacturing facility in Reynosa, Mexico, is a 175,000 square-foot IATF 16949 and ISO 9001-certified, high-volume facility producing the highest-quality battery cables, custom ignition wire sets and more.
The award recognizes General Motors’ top-performing supplier manufacturing locations. Suppliers who achieve the SQE Award have met or exceeded very stringent quality performance criteria, and have also received cross-functional support by the entire GM organization for the 2022 calendar year.
