Passive level switches are devices that monitor a fluid level based on a non-contact magnetic float:
- Protect systems from overfilling or damage
- Control activation and deactivation of devices to avoid their damage due to high or low fluid level
- Activate devices based on a fluid level (e.g., warning light)
Available in different contact arrangements and mounting variants
- Horizontally mounted (side), SPST normally closed, normally open – finger switch
- Vertically mounted (top, bottom), SPST normally closed, normally open, with drain plug (bottom mounted) – float switches
