Pressure switches are devices that monitor a pressure and break or make an electrical connection in response to a system pressure change:
- Ensure minimum or maximum pressures are reliably maintained
- Protect systems from overpressure, control activation and deactivation of devices to avoid its damage due to very high or very low pressure
- Activate devices based on a system pressure (e.g. brake light)
Available in different contact arrangement variants:
- Normally open (NO)
- Normally closed (NC)
- Changeover (SPDT)
