The air conditioner compressor is the heart of the refrigeration system and functions as a suction, compression, and circulation pump. The compressor can be regarded as the interface between the low-pressure end and the high-pressure end of the refrigerant circuit, and the refrigerant is sucked and compressed from the low-pressure side to raise the temperature and pressure, and then pumped into the high-pressure side to reciprocate.

Standard Motor Products Product The compressor is constructed from one fixed and one rotating scroll in an offset spiral configuration. Shaft rotation creates spaces of varying volume between the 2 scrolls, causing refrigerant to be sucked in and compressed.
