SMP Engineered Solutions holds several patents on multiple fan clutch designs. With our in-house capabilities, our customers can design fan clutches with custom shafts and fan pilots per their specifications. As an OES supplier to GMNACC, Chrysler, Ford, Wheeler Brother, Clark MHS, no request is too big or too small to accept.
DESIGN OPTIONS
- Domestic and Import Type Manufacturer covering 12 product families and over 210 models
- Designs cover interchanges to OEM, namely Borg Warner, Behr, Delphi, USUI and AISIN
- OES supplier to GMNACC, Chrysler, Ford, Wheeler Brother, Clark MHS offering over 50 part numbers
Performance
- Fan Clutches and drives tested with fan in a ducted system to simulate real conditions.
- Speed ratings up to 4500 RPM under load (not free air).
- Torque Rating up to 25 ft-lbs at 2700 RPM fan speed.
- Assemblies balanced at design to 1oz / inch
